Ok, I'm greek and my family has a lot of money there because of the estate that we own.
Well, I'm pretty on top of what's going to who, and what's being stolen from who.
However, my mom's side of the family doesn't exactly have that much money or a big estate that their going to inherit. So, their pretty jealous of what we have.
So, the way that they are expressing it is by saying, "omg, you could flick Greece right off of the map," or "I could buy Greece with pocket change"
I know I should be able to ignore it, but it really hurts that they are saying this stuff about something that I'm really proud of and is really important to me.

Tough one, you cant tell them not to say them things cuz It doesnt work like that. You could ignore it.. but very hard to do. I guess I would reply in the way they said the statement.. example.. "I could buy Greece with pocket change" I would say yup I could.... with a smile. Dont let them know its getting to ya, hopefully then they will quit.

Well just remember there saying it out of jeaoulsy but that also is a praise they have to say somthing good about what you have, so they say it in a way which they express how much money you have but in a way that they think insults, and makes you know they dont care.
So you shouldnt really care what they say. Theres always someone underneath somone meaning that someone is always better than somone else. You shouldnt care what these people have to say because there are always going to be people that are jealous so you should just ignore them they cant say anything more than that.

Well first when they make those comments tell thim its none of their business. If they keep on you could tell them yeah your right i could "flick greece right off the map" and i can make you disappear with it with the kind of money i have....lol well they might call the cops for terristic threats. Just tell them to shut up and mind their own bussiness

someday you will realize that people are petty, stupid and even jealous.
it takes practice to ignore these types, but you CAN!
