We might consider, as other posters have, that Yaweh God (henceforth simply God) did not impregnate Mary, but that the Holy Spirit did. But, since Christians are required to renounce all Gods before God, the Holy Spirit cannot be a seperate entity and must be part of God. Therefore, if the Holy Spirit is male, God must be male. However, it is possible also that God stimulated a single oocyte to begin dividing, thus creating a clone of Mary in her womb, and then manipulated the DNA to create a male version of her. This would not require a specific gender. Still another possibility is that God is a hermaphrodite, thus explaining why almost all of earth's species have two genders if all were created in God's image. (This is assuming a Christian point of view.)

God is a He. God is referred to as a male throughout scripture. No God did not impregnate mary. The Holy Spirit is the one you need to look at on that.

Your logic is off.
Think about it this way. A female doctor (God) "impregnates" a woman by inserting her husbands seed (Holy Spirit) into her with a needle.
It's a REALLY bad (REALLY, REALLY bad) analogy, but the point is, God did not directly impregnate Mary by having sex with her, he did it by inserting the Holy Spirit, which took the place of a man's seed.
The best way to refer to God would probably be "It", since I would assume He is neither man nor female, nor is He a human. However, it is easier for us to connect with God by calling Him "He".
God, in my opinion, is a spirit, and when He "created us in His own image", I think the Bible is referring to our soul, rather than our physical body. So, God can think like us, but He does not necessarily look like us.

Gender is something that relates to the physical realm of being. Gender is a means by which reproduction can be achieved. Even in nature there are plants and animals which possess both the so-called male and female attributes needed to reproduce. God, being God, transcends the need to reproduce as the nature of God is eternal, omniscient and omnipotent.

Jesus' body was created (okay so half). Mary wasn't empregnated, as she was still a virgin at the time.
God the Father is not corporial, therefore, He is not subject to having a willie. Christ was a man, but the Father and the Spirit of course were not humans.

Just forget about it. Say "God" is NOT a person and repeat 500 times. And forget about all the rest of the theological BS.No one, despite what they claim, has any idea who or what "God" is or indeed if there IS a God. Just be good to yourself and others, and let the rest of the universe take care of itself. Its been doing that for millions of years without people anyhow!
