With a biaised sample of quotes, it's easy to reach a prejudiciable conclusion. I agree that these don't really advance the values proposed by Atheism, but then again if we should respect the more progressive believers, why should we respect the poisonous beliefs of the extremists in their midst? Respect for believers is something that must be deserved, not owed.

well, people who like to gripe and start fights tend to flock together. Making stupid questions just allows for all those kinds of people to feel justified in their way of thinking. Instead of looking for intelligent questions and answers, they're content to remain in their ignorance and sit on their thumbs spouting it for all to see.

I tend to ignore these questions as they are not intelligent, nor do I believe they are actually seeking for anything relevant, they're just trying to stir up trouble. I am more than willing to engage in conversation and debate with athiests who are respectful and bring legitmate questions to the table. I enjoy a good debate.

You seem like on of those kinds of people. You see the idiotic nature of the questions of others and you see that it hurts your "cause" just like the wacko "Chistians" hurt mine. There are those rotten tomatoes in every batch I guess. :) Keep up the good work.
