First of all, if he's your boyfriend, I'm sure you trust him and are comfortable with him. Second, ice skating is so much fun!!! I've only gone once but that is because there isn't one real close by me, but I would love to go again. I think you would really enjoy it. And what girl wouldn't love being taken to dinner? I say go for it! I'm sure you will have a blast. My only advice is to wear 2 pairs of thick socks! Good luck and have fun!!!

Don't go ice skating, if you really don't want to. It's your decision. Not your moms. After all the ice skating; you'll be hungry. If you ever roller skated; you probably won't have any trouble. Try to have fun.

Tell him you don't particularly care for ice skating but you're open to another outing of some sort and dinner. Being boyfriend and girlfriend means finding outings of mutual interest to both of you, not indulging another person's whims to your own detriment. (There are times when we appease the other partner, and that's okay: she'll watch a football game with him, and he'll go shopping with her at the mall) but it's perfectly okay and healthy to have separate interests (because you're separate people after all). So, suggest he take you somewhere else; someplace you'll both enjoy.

I definitely think that you should go with him. It will give Don a chance to hold you close and protect you, and it will become a very romantic night. It will prove to you how much you trust him. If you do trust him, he won't let you fall and get hurt and you will have a very very nice evening. Don't worry about being scared because you can cling onto him for dear life and he can teach you to skate [it's pretty easy anyway] but definitely trust him and give it a shot

You might have fun. You don't know how to ice skate but if you try you might like it and you'll always remember your boyfriend introduced you to it.
Tell him, you don't know and you're scared. Ask him if you go if he will help you and take care of you and not ridicule you.
Settle all your insecurities before so you are more comfortable and remember when you get there, to have fun and don't care about what others may think. Its your first time and you'll have an excuse to be falling.
Plus it may be sooo romantic. ;-)

Sounds a little like you don't trust him much. Is he really a boyfriend? Or just a guy that makes you feel good by paying a lot of attention to you?

You added dinner to that date, and if you're afraid to do dinner, then you're either very shy, or you don't trust him. Try getting a group to go. If it's because you REALLY like him but don't want look clumsy, ask him to hold onto you and show you how...Ooh how romantic!

A lot of guys think it's cute when a girl falls, It gives them the pleasure of holding you when they pick you up! Don't worry about what others think. I think you should go in a group!

If you really don't know that he can be trusted. tell your mother not to push you onto a person you're not sure about

Trust him or not I think you should go with friends IN YOUR FRIENDS CAR!

just go! it's a unique experience, will create bonding time, and a lot of laughs i'm sure. He will enjoy helping you ice skate (hint hint ;P ). Just think those memories will be something to grow on. Never be afraid to try new things no matter how scary.
