I want to intentionally teach my children about God. I believe it is the responsibility of the parent to teach their children.

"Train up a children in the way they should go, and when they are older, they will not depart from it."

From me and my family and then from our Church family. There has never been a day since my children were old enough to understand words, (at least while they lived under our roof) that they have not been exposed to God. Whether prayers at bedtime, blessings at meal time, crosses and pictures on the wall to just a living example of how we should live our lives, my Christianity has been a constant force in my family.

I think the greatest and best way our children will come to know God, is not through us or anyone else, talking about Him, but living for Him 24/7. Children don't always listen to what we say, but the do notice how we live.

Children should always learn about Jesus from their dad. The dad is the spiritual leader of the family. If not their dad, then their mother.

If they have unbelievers then God will find a way to let Himself be known to them.

For the sake of the country, a Christian nation as America is needs their children praying to the Lord. Our protection and our provision is the Lord. The Lord has been the greatness of America and we have lived in a blessed country. The Lord is giving America warning signs as any good Father disciplines His children.

I believe that "finding" god is a persons choice. When I have children, I plan to expose them to an array of religions and study those religions, then let them pick the one the like and can use as a crutch for their faith. Myself, I was raised in a Methodist church for all of my child until late adolescence(perfect attendance for nine years in Sunday school). I was unsatisfied by some of the particulars of that religion. Therefore I became agnostic and believe that god is an unexplainable phenomena. Though since my mind needs a physical imagine to grasp the concept of God. I like to think of God as a cow and I the cowboy or farmer. I.E. Keep the cow happy and healthy; you get milk.

First of all, I know that things like that are caught, not taught, so I would make sure I was pursuing God. Then, I would teach what I know at home as well as corporately with a group of other believers.

I want them to discover him themselves. I am not a hardcore christian and at this point in time I'm not even sure if I believe in God. I feel terrible saying it because I grew up a baptist and my life revolved around church when I was younger. I want my children to discover him, hear about him on the radio or on T.V. and ask questions if they choose to do so. I don't want to force God or my beliefs on my children. I want them to form their own beliefs.

tell him to read the bible and explain wat it means just buy him an easy to read children version. tell him too read one chapter and have a little fun with him and create projects and games that realate to the bible so he/she cold know more about the stories and know god more. agood place to start ia genisis, then psalms, then matthew, then john. tell him to put verses around the room and read it before every nite and make memorize it. also tell to put the lords prayer in his room and read that too. it helps i do that all the time. also put a sign that says god is with u, pray before leaving.
tell about god and how u first met god and send him to some retreats. it really helps. if he doesn't get any spritual fedding on sundays . feed him with your words. well hope this helps!
