Dont know enough about the Jewish faith to form an opinion. I dont understand why Jews have had such a rough ride throughout history. There always seems to be someone taking a pop at you for no apparent reason

Jewish people descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - God made a Covenant with Abraham saying that Hebrews would become a great nation.

Jews have been persecuted throughout the centuries and still come back stronger than ever. Jews are tough and hardy and one has to respect them for that :)

Israel is the land of the Jews - promised to Abraham many centuries ago!

Like Buddhism and Taoism and other religions of old it was another piece of the jigsaw that will eventually lead to enlightenment for everyone.
But spiritual knowledge like all other forms of knowledge is progressive .. we learn more as time passes .. and become more advanced and leave the old ways for more appropriate teachings. Why continue to worship ancient ideas that hinder the human spirit in its development. Was Jesus Christ .. a famous Jew .. not right when he said he came to bear witness of another, more enlightened, piece of the jigsaw ..?

Having been to Israel three times, and created a virtual tour of the country (as well as Jordan), all I can say is that the Jewish faith is fantastic to learn about and study. In fact, the key to understanding a majority of prophecy in the Bible is directly tied to Israel, her faith, and her people.

In regard to my world travels, I have never been so warmly welcomed in another country than I have by the Israeli people.

For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel.

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Before Abraham was, I am.
