Without a doubt, none of them. The Vivitars are notoriously unreliable, the Technika I've never heard of (nuff said -- probably a cheap Chinese knockoff and it looks like it doesn't have any optical zoom), the Praktica is 100% positively a cheap unit that's actually manufactured in China and sold under a variety of names, including Rollei, Miray, etc. While Praktica may be a German company, their digital cameras are rebadged Chinese models.
Actually, none of these models have any optical zoom capability, which is something you'll probably desire in a point and shoot (don't confuse the 3x or 4x digital zoom spec with *real* optical zoom).
Since you mentioned the beach, you definitely don't want something of low build quality, you'll have water and sand creeping into the camera's internals in no time. If you're on a budget, I'd recommend saving up a little more and looking at some of the better-known brands, you can even buy a Kodak for under $100 and it'll last you 10x longer than the three you're looking into (not to mention produce better photos).
Good luck!

I would recommend the Praktica as you can upgrade the SD card.
As far a quality goes I wouldn't get any, but they are not bad for the price.
The Megapixl of a camera is not directly linked to quality, a lot of it depends on the lens, but you probably dont want to be spending a few hundred quid on a Digital SLR camera.
I have a phone with more megapixls than an old digital camera but the camera takes better pictures.

I would get the last one (the Praktica DC Slim315 Red) of the three on your list. I like the specifications on this one the best. It should work fine for your beach pictures. It should work with your 1GB SD card.
I think this camera will take about 18 to 20 pictures on high resolution setting. It will take much more with the expansion card.

I agree with the responder who suggested a brand name - Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic. Buying an off-brand to save money usually ends up costing you more when it dies and you have to replace it.
Visit shutterbug.com and Search for the Sept. 2007 review of five 10megapixel digicams - or pick up a copy.
I also suggest you check these two sites if you're taking your camera to the beach. Sand, salt spray and water do not mix well with any camera.

I think a nikon coolpix as you can adjust your exposure up or down 3stops you can also get differant menus to select what would be correct. I have a coolpix 7600 which cost me about £100.00 and as i do a bit of photography I am more than satisfied as I can get 7megapixels per inch or down to 3mps. but the more pixels per inch the better the qaulity photo you will get and if you want you could enlarge the photo without any loss of resolution that is to say grain

the Argos one it has the most mega pixels.Mega pixels are the dots that make up an image. If the image is made of the more dots the better the image will be.The Argos camera is only 3.2 its not very good for a camera really you need to get about 5 or higher for a good image
