diarrhea??? i ate spaghetti for breakfast, lunch and dinner and this morning i got.. well you know.. and i wanted to know if it's true (if you eat to much tomato sauce can you get "d")??? sorry i just don't like the word..lol

thanks so far to the people that actually know what their talking about, acid doesn't ever agree with me, so i guess my co-worker was right too.. guess the others that answered "no" also got a lesson today..

what a nut!just kidding...I just know that spaghetti sauce ..actually the tomatoes in it contain acid and gives you a 'sour" stomach...not recommended for people with acid reflex..heartburn

Yes it is true. There is a lot of acid in tomatos which can give you the diarrhea.

anytime i make spaghetti sauce or chili i add a little bit of sugar to knock down some of the acidicity in it

there are times that I have eaten alot of spaghetti, it is my fav food, and I can say it does not cause that, it could have be just a fluke, thats all
