A photo slide show can only be done in the computer.
The software that is ideal for this is the Microsoft Powerpoint presentation.
Click start
point to programs
and select MS powerpoint.
(This is only applicable when you have microsoft office program loaded).
You should be able to select the "Auto content wizard".
Click next
Select the type of slide style you wish to use for the pictures slide show and click next on each dialog box that appears.
On the file menu bar click Slide show.
Select loop continously and click ok.
These are all the wizard needs for creating a slide show.
Down on the drawing tools bar, click insert picture and select the picture you wish to insert in each page.
(you must have previously scanned the pictures or downloaded it into my documents folder).
Click save when you finish with your design.
I hope i did not confuse you.
You know this is hard to explain here and i have used a lot of space already.

Most computers come with some kind of photo software. In a Mac, it's iphoto, but check the applications in the computer you're using. You need to get the photos you want onto the computer, either through email attachments, downloading from a digital camera or scanning photos in, if you only have the hard copies. Then they go to a photo library in the software. You can make a new folder of just the photos for the slideshow. Once you have them there and rotate them so they are all upright, there should just be a button to click that says "view slideshow" or something similar. That gives you choices for how many seconds to show each one, what music you want to play, and other special affects. Use the help function w/ the software if you get stuck. Otherwise, just play around with it and you can't go wrong

I work on a Macbook and it came with iPhoto which is perfect for this type of project. Do you have a friend with a Mac? Ask them about iPhoto and maybe they can help you put together your slide show.
I make DVDs of my photos, complete with music--it's great fun and everyone LOVES watching them at family gatherings and special events (ie: wedding)!!

If you have Microsoft software, PowerPoint is an easy program to ceate and maintain a slide show of photos.
