Which one is correct to use in text - 'etiological study' or 'etiologic study'? Or sth else even?

Etiologic study is correct. "I am at University, conducting etiologic study."

The other form would be used thus: "I am studying the etiological impact."

I would be inclined, though admittedly not knowing the context, toward the adjectival form, "etiological."
