Well, by definition "not too often" wouldn't be a problem. The question is whether or not he thinks it "not too often". Personally, I couldn't hear that question more than once or twice before it bothered me. It would bother me because it indicates a lack of trust in me. Assuming that I tell her I love her on a regular basis, getting that question is like saying "Can I trust you to mean what you say?"

Its like a dog begging to be petted. Its cute once in a while, and occaisionaly very annoying. Most of the time its something you learn to ignore.

It doesn't bother me. In fact, I would ask her as well. Sometimes, you can't get enough of hearing someone say that they love you.

Yes, because... we want our "declarations" of love to be our declarations and not those forced out of us because we don't want to hurt her feelings. You might wait and see what happens if you don't ask. You actually might get more spontaneous "I love you"s if you don't insist on verbal reassurances.

i does because when you are going out with some one you don't love them because it is not like you are going to get married.
and if you are still in school what is the point in loveing some one that you just meet. i mean when you get older and have your own house and can get married than you can love them but if you are still in school you can;t love them because it is not going to last

I don't think it's annoying. I think it's sweet when a girl does that.
