Have a simple flat tax rate and everybody pays the same. But put about 100 or 200 little boxes to check about what you want your taxes to pay for. Fire protection - 5%, police - 10%, highways - 10%, national security - 15%, border patrol - 2%, welfare - .1%, bridge grants in alaska - 0%, aid to Darfur - 0%. Just check your boxes until 100% and that's where your dollars go instead of funding the spotted gecko extinction on a deserted Motu in the south Pacific. And I vote to remove troops from Germany, Japan, Korea, Kovovo, and anywhere else. But as long as we are in Iraq, keep bombing for a while and give the Marines a month off with free beer.

Fragi - why is it equitable to tax me for somebody that doesn't work or works in a low paying job. That is the jist of my theory. Quit taxing me for bums or low lifes. If you want to help them then God Bless you but don't take my money.

A man saves money his whole life and at 55 he has 6 million dollars and opens an automobile plant. Two weeks later the workers unionize and vote to strike over better pay. The owner goes broke and loses his life savings, the striking worker just moves on. Who is the victim?
