I use avg because I've heard good things from... computer nerds... any way
my stepdad put it on his lap top and it worked perfectly it found all the viruses and stuff so I put it on my computer but it never finds any threats or anything... and I know there HAS to be something, cuz I have limewire and that's like a big neon sign saying GIVE ME A VIRUS!
So doesn any one know why it's not catching anything on my computer
I do update it, it does it automaticaly and it scans every day too but never finds anything

Then you may assume that you are virus free. I have been using AVG for a long time, and it works just fine.

If AVG hasn't flagged anything, it probably means what you have downloaded is clean.
If you are concerned, make sure your firewall is active and protects against both inbound and out bound intrusions. Zone alarm is free and scans both ways.

Another way to test out if AVG is working is to use an online antivirus scanning program such as McAfee. Here is a link to their free online scan page.

Also you may try booting your computer into safe mode and then scanning with AVG. Goto this website to determine how to get into safe mode.

THERE IS NOTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!
I have Limewire and I don't get viruses or anything else like that.
