No, I think she's talking about the pre-maid sheets that we take notes on at the assemblies. It includes a cover sheet and a print out version of the program (list of all of the talks.)
My mom gets them off of some friends, but when I do find out where she gets them, I'll email you the directions.

It seems that the questioner refers to bound compilations of research materials, arranged according the annual schedule of Jehovah's Witnesses' "Theocratic Ministry School" (of which most active Witnesses are students).
The reason an individual Jehovah's Witness would be reluctant to reveal the source of his notebook is that such notebooks typically violate the copyrights of the source material, and the rightful copyright holders have specifically asked that they not be distributed.
Sadly, some have even sold these printed compilations of copyrighted material on eBay.

Well, I guess you have to ask for it whenever you see the one that you really like. I downloaded one from my email box once when it was sent to me. So you can kindly request one and a brother or sister will readily give it to you. Hope you receive one sooner or later.

Maybe they are afraid you will go out disguised as a witness and ask for marshallows.
They will not let you get one unless you meet their approval.
Weird, isn't it?
I am not a JW, but I looked into for you.
