Well you probably know that you put water in a pot, put it on the stove and turn on the gas/electric.

Some interesting tibits:

- covering the pot with a lid doesn't substantially bring the water to a boil faster

- With a gas stove, the diameter of the flame should be no larger than the diameter of the pot ; otherwise you are losing energy

Fill a pot 3/4 of the way up with water and put on the stove, turn the flame up most of the way and cover the pot with a lid.

You will see it starting to bubble up and then you will have boiled water =)

They sell dehydrated water. Open the box and pour into a pot, then add an equal amount of water and on high heat it will boil. Good luck....not a stupid question.

I start by going to the hen house and chopping the head off a checken. Then pluck it and clean out the inside stuff. Rinse well and take it in the house. Fill the checken with water and sew it shut. Put it in the microwave on high for 12 minutes. Take it out and cut the stitches being careful not to burn yourself with the steam. You now have "chicken boiled water".
