Sometimes I feel something, "warm 'n' tingly" but most of the time I feel: irritated, tired, anxious, sad, happy, thankful, or nothing. Once in a great while I get this overwhelming awe kind of feeling that makes my eyes well up, but not often.

I feel whatever I was feeling right before I prayed. If I felt a tingling warmth near my heart, I would figure it was heartburn.

I guess it must be nice to feel tingly sensations every time you pray, but it doesn't happen to me. What happens to me, happens in my mind, not my heart. When I pray I know something instead of feel something. If I'm tired or irritated by my long day, or whatever, when I start to pray I force myself to realize who I am and who God is, and I force myself to remember -- so far as my mortal mind can grasp it -- how much God intensely and passionately loves me. That's when I sometimes get that overwhelmed sensations and watery eyes. But those times are rare.

Even when I don't feel tingly or overwhelming love or whatever, I close my prayer with this knowledge, in my head instead of my heart: that I have just touched God and He touched me and something happened -- even if I didn't feel a "blessed" thing. ;)

Well, there are different feelings when I pray. Sometimes, if I am in a rush, or if I feel that I am just praying because it is a duty, I do not feel much. But, when I sincerely take it to heart and all is quite and I pour my heart out to God, I feel a presence right beside me and all around me. I feel His presence so much that I am moved to tears and sometimes I cannot make out my words anymore, then I will stop and let the Holy Spirit take over. Sometimes, when I pray I feel relief. Relief that I have gotten whatever it was off my chest and finally handed it to God. When I go into prayer with worries and things that are bogging me down, I come out with no worries and suddenly feel light, like I can walk on air.

Over the years, the feeling has changed; it started out as sort of a warm sensation. Now it is a feeling of total calm, rest, and peace. I have often gotten lost in the moment and can remember not 'hearing' the noises around me. It is a place where I am not of the world, its business seems to seize to exist, and I am just "there". Sorry, if it is confusing, this is very hard to explain. I guess, it boils down to -- just me and G-d -- we are the only ones that exist at that time.

Then there have been other moments, I was totally focused on Him, almost like; my "own self" disappeared. All thoughts were on His glory, majesty, will in my life, praise for Him alone, and just 'being' His wondrous creation. I know, it sounds crazy, but this is how prayer (or rather) communication between my Heavenly Father and me go. "I get lost in His Magnificent Love".

Depends what you are praying about
Prayer is more than a monologue - its a dialogue
Sometimes I feel convicted that I have wronged someone and that i need to apologise
Sometimes I feel reassurance when things are a little crazy and I ask God for some peace
There have been times when I have been moved to tears or just felt plain happy
There are also times when God is silent - this is one of those difficult areas of my faith which I am studying but in all this I trust in God and He has never let me down

It depends. Sometimes I feel like God is near and other times I don't feel Him at all, but I continue to pray and cry out to Him until I get that connection.

You will only feel it if you really believe.
So asking a question that most people do not feel. Because they do not believe in any thing. So they are going to make fun of you. So just smile and turn the other cheek.

I feel a sense of reassurance that is justified when I see things fall into place that answer my prayer, even if the answer was no, because I know God was there and listened.

It varies widely for me presently when I pray to God; depending amongst other things the fervency of the prayer.

depends on what i pray for actually. I usually get nervous and act all formal. Like I use complete names when I pray for someone instead of their nicknames... like God doesnt know them by their nicknames. :-) Basically thats it. It like how I feel if I need to ask my dad for my allowance. :-)
