you are best off going to a shop and asking this question to one of the artists there, will depend on the coloring of your skin

it really does depend on your skin tone. the darker your skin color is the less colors will show up. darker colors will be more prominent. light colors work best with lighter skin so yellows and whites are not as great with darker skin. the best thing you can do is probably seek out a tattoo artist who is experienced in tattooing black people. make sure to look at any tattoos that have been done in their portfolio so you'll know what you're getting.
good luck!!

It depends on your skin tone. I have three tattoos, one color and two black. I'm like a light mocha color and i have green, red, gold, and black in my color tattoo and the color shows nicely. Definitely talk to your artists they will know best good luck.

All tats will slowly fade over time. That's a given. Having dark skin will be a little more difficult for the ink to show in general. I would reccommend using good ink. Personally, I have my tats done with an ink called Talons, or Talonz. (I think) - its pretty dark, all mine are black tats.
Silver I am not too sure about, but ask the artist which kind of ink they use and how it will show on your skin. Go to a good shop. Chances are they'll use good ink.
Good luck.

doesn't depend on anything. if you go to a really good artist, that tat will last the rest of your life. I had my tat for over 7 years and still looks like i just got it done.

they don't show up very well on darker skin and color does fade...
I'd stick to black... it's last long and looks good.
