My own PARENTS think less of me because of my religious beliefs (or lack thereof).

Because they challenge them.

I don't think any less of Atheists. God made us all equal and loves us all equally. The fact that we disagree in our beliefs (or lack thereof) is irrelevant.

LuckyJohn, you obviously know nothing about Christianity, you only see it from the outside looking in, and your view is totally distorted and misinformed. So why are you even attempting to explain something you don't understand? Instead of posting any mature, valid viewpoints, all you're doing is rambling and being disrespectful.

As Christians, we are assured a place in heaven because we believe in Jesus and have faith in God, so we have nothing to fear. Hmmm, could it be you are spouting out your secretly hidden fears, that you really can't face? Because you sure sound paranoid! And your rant doesn't seem very sane either.

I hope the religious people do not past or presently think lowly of the atheists. It is possible that some do (depending on the use of their God given talents). From a Christian's perspective, the Apex is Col. 3:17. (P.S. FYI, the Lord (not lord) from Genesis-Malachi was the Lord Jesus Christ). After all, we (mankind) are all brothers and sisters under God the Father (Gen.20:12).

Are you sure it isn't the other way around? At least for this forum, that's the way it seems.

I'm a Christian and I don't think lowly of atheists.

It would really be nice to be able to have a decent conversation here (in R&S) with both believers and non-believers without it becoming an argument or explosion of vulgarities.

Have a super day!
