I think you are making generalized statements without offering any direct evidence - "legalistic's cry 4 more law every time something goes wrong" - - people are not using their senses because law is "good and evil" - - ???

OK - according to you, the Bible AND history PROVE "more LAW = worse-end."

I'm guessing you believe LAW is a bad thing - - I would love to comment on this, but I'd like to see exactly what you are really talking about.

In the beginning, man did not know right from, the law was given, to let man know when he was wrong. We no longer need the law. God has put into every one, to know when they are doing wrong. Jesus did away with the law, but not God's commandments. We should live by faith, and love. If you obey the first two commandments, that would be all you need.

Love thy Lord your God with all your heart, your body and soul

Love your neighbor as thy self

Being delivered does not mean you can go on sinning, God forbid. Remember. The wages of sin is death
Those that live by the law, shall die by the law.

Discernment between good and evil is a rare gift. It was given to Solomon but even he went a bit funny.
'Deliver us from the evil one' (Satan) is how Matt 6:13 should be read.
We are delivered from the 'law' by belief in Christ as God.
Try to avoid going dotty - doesn't help seeing things clearly.

Depends on what you consider to be the basic problem.

Laws squared and cubed every year haven't made things 'better' from most perspectives.
