You would not need to repent or be forgiven for being the unique, intelligent, thoughtful person you are by my God. Of course, judging from most of the posts, my God isn't the "real God."
The notion that people should be punished for sincere beliefs, or their individual natures, even stubborn ones, is absurd to me. People who are so confident that those who believe what they believe will be rewarded while all others will rot eternally are either limited or truly disturbed, and I would definitely prefer to go to Hell eternally if Heaven is limited to such self righteous/ self congratulatory/ emotionally immature types.

If you were really being honest you would know he does reveil himself to us everyday. I would say just go for a quiet walk alone and ask him to come in a talk with you.....It is kinda like this. He gives us the invitation to a great party. You read the innovation. You sit it down on the table saying I have plenty of time to respond. The party is months away. Every now and then he calls you. He says are you coming. You say I have plenty of time it is months away. Every now and then you look at the invitation sitting on the table and you wonder. When was that party. You might glance at it. Then things happen the table gets cluttered and the invitation becomes cluttered and covered up. He calls but you can't hear the phone ring. You are always too busy. Then it comes you are in shock. You were invited but where is that invitation? You find it. It has the address on it. You run to the party and knock on the door. But you missed it. The party was yesterday. Why didn't he wait for you? Why didn't he change the date? Why is everyone gone? Where is the food? If he loved you .......
That is how it is with GOD. He loves you. He wants you with him for his great party. He sends the invitation. But it is up to you if you accept it. You can't say after you die now I am ready. Evita

"afterall, he is all forgiving and will forgive me for himself not giving me the capacity to believe in him."
That's one of those questions that has a rather harsh answer. First of all God is not "all forgiving" in the sense that He forgives everyone for everything. He is a just and righteous God who has declared that the penalty for breaking his laws is eternal separation from Him.
His love is demonstrated by his sending of his only son Jesus to pay that penalty for all who will trust in God and the sacrifice of his Son.
God doesn't create people with the ability to believe in Him. Instead the Bible teaches that saving faith is a gift that people receive sometime during the course of their lives.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Jesus also confirmed that God has to save each person.
John 6:43 Jesus answered them, "Do not grumble among yourselves. 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
That having been said, no where in the Bible do you find that God will ever try to prevent someone from turning from their sins and trusting in Jesus for their salvation. We don't know exactly how God chooses to save some people and not others but we do know that if people harden their hearts and don't seek to know the truth because they would rather be their own "gods", that is, they would rather live according to what they think is right than submit to God's divine revelation of what He says is right, then there is little chance for them to be saved. Here is how one passage puts it.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The good news is that God is patient and long suffering not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentence and a saving knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 3:8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Since you are thinking about God and about believing in Him and about the judgment then it could be that God is calling you into his family. Click on the Get Saved button @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/

I think that's very impossible.I think you ever believe in God.But,you influenced by people around you.If you really search it I think you will find it,include if we search it with science.Because i have proved it.All of the people certain ever believe in God,because this is a nature ruler.May be now you don't believe it.but u certain ever believe in God.
I think God won't forgive you.because if something which created by us,don't believe it or may be don't do what we want, the purpose he/she created. We will very angry.I think you know the reason.
That's human, and how about God?I think it same or may be more than human.Because human created by God not only to play but God have a purpose.Right?

You have the ability to believe, you either choose to or not.
According to scripture, you make that choice while here, not after death.
He *is* forgiving. According to my beliefs (as a Christian), that's why He sent Jesus - to die for us on the cross, taking our sins with Him.
To be saved, we simply have to believe that Jesus *did* die for us, that He was raised in 3 days and now sits at the right hand of the Father. We have to believe it in our hearts and confess it with our mouths (Romans 10:9).
Have a terrific day!

Dear,
I don’t know where I start…
My belief and I are inseparable, I believe that God is always looking for a REASON to forgive us(But not for no good reason), he knows who he had created, he knows we have our own weaknesses, he knows we make mistakes and all of us have major faults, but he doesn’t treat us considering our darks side…
He always looks at our good side; he looks at the ethereal part of our soul. Every time we do a good thing, every time we help someone, we defend someone’s rights, every time we make a sad soul happy, God becomes proud of us, moreover he is so forgiving that never punish us right away for our faults, he gives us time to rethink, he gives us clues to understand… how many times did you run away from a near-miss disaster just like a miracle? Every time it happens to me I wonder why god saved me this time, why is he looking after us so kindly. Why should I be so unthankful to such a mighty kind god?
Dear,
Imagine that someone wants to solve a problem. If you give him too much information he gets confused and becomes unable to solve the problem.
We’re surrounded by lots of clues, lots of hints, all leading us toward god. But we sometimes get confused; we sometimes forget who we are looking for.
God is so obvious that we sometimes don’t see him, and we forget him.
Believing in god is something from inside. When god created us, as a gift, he gave all of us a heavenly soul. But unfortunately we don’t care it; we just let the daily-life to ruin that precious gift.
Dear,
I don’t want to impress you, but I swear to god that your soul “is” capable of what you think it isn’t. couldn’t you enjoy your time and post a totally differt question, something about computers, Ipods, whatever? Of course you could. But you asked THIS question at your will. Because the ethereal part of your soul is fortunately alive and is looking for its origin.
Belief in god is not something palpable, but also it is not something that you can GRASP. I can smell the aura of your belief to god; from your question. But I know you’re looking for something much stronger than a simple belief.
Be happy, dear. Be kind to yourself because god is kind to you. God has given you the talent to understand him, just look around and try to find and understand the clues. Try to go to outdoors, somewhere that no one else lives there, and stay in there for a while, talk to your god freely and ask him to help you understand him, and be sure that he will eagerly listen to you…
Ask him, ask him, ask him,
and don’t forget me in your prays…
***and as an answer to your question I ahould say:
God "MIGHT" forgive someone after he dies. in our religious taughts it is mentioned that god may forgive some people for some REASONS even in the doomsday.

Yes you will have the opportunity to repent after you die PROVIDED the timeline of your passing places you at the gulf where you are permitted to be further taught.
However, once the time of the white throne judgment occurs it is up to Him to decide your forgiveness -- but He who sits at the right hand of God on the mercy seat may intervene on your behalf.
God does not wrestle with 'free will' because it was given to you for a reason. God does not want creation to be populated by an army of robots saying 'I love you'. He wants your love of your own volition.

No, I don't think so. Too late.
Your question tells me that you are either an agnostic or an atheist. Well-known scientists have discovered God. You only have to examine the hard evidence with an open mind and you too will find God. Go to the links below to discover the scientific truth of God.

Albert Einstein wrote in his book "The World As I See It" that the harmony of natural law "Reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection."
He went on to write, "Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe--a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."
A very significant statement indeed, wouldn’t you say?
God wants to show how much he loves and cares for you. St. Augustine said, “our hearts are restless until they rest in thee.” I, too, found God the hard way like St. Augustine. Seek him. He wants to embrace you.
Peace and every blessing!
