Consider that the tree itself was once a seed that grew over time into limbs and leaves which bend and sway.
Consider that this tree, in time, will produce seeds of its own which will, in their turn, produce other trees.
You understand that planting a seed, any seed, under the good auspices of soil, sun, air, and water, causes it to germinate into a perfect representative of its kind (and only its kind), in time.
And the plant does not die, or cease to produce more seeds, as long as it is surrounded by the conditions for its continued growth and development.
Life is not just the time you see the plant, or the tree, or the animal, or the person, or the planet, or the star, or universes, in bloom. Life is what causes these forms to become what they are in what appears to us as an ever changing, never-ending succession.
Considered another way, the song you listened to is ALSO a form of life. It consists of lyrics, rhythm, music, and perspective. It grew from the seed of an idea in the artist’s mind into the bloom of feeling and perspective it produces in the “soil” of your experience. You shared that perspective with us in a question, from which our understanding “flowers” into a more complete appreciation of Life as we discuss these ideas or think about them.
Think about how the idea germinated within the artist who produced your song.
Life is the continuum in which all this happens….
And you can feel IT swinging and swaying and making you see other ideas waiting to flourish and grow a myriad of forms into maturity through you.
Just as that tree does....

I think life is about learning lessons. Sometimes the hardest lessons to learn happen at the lowest points in our lives. Things that look like curses turn out to have blessings inside them. For example, after breaking my foot and realizing that I could not even get a drink of water by myself, let alone cook, clean, etc., I learned that humility is not such a bad thing. Others that I have cared for in past situations came to care for me. It was important for me to just sit and pay attention during this time. Unlike most people, I cannot take pain killers, so the pain was 24/7 and I did little sleeping. Curse? Partly, but wrapped in that was the blessing of processing all the things going on with this new situation. That 'tree' dropped me down until I realized how very lucky I am to have people who love me enough to make sure I don't starve, to help care for my pets, to fetch, cook and carry, and to stay long enough to make sure that I am emotionally cared for as well. The tree bent, and I see. Does that help, Cricket Song?

When i read those lyrics i don't see anything that talks about life and death...what i see is that they are saying that life will put you threw alot of paths and some will be good and some will turn bad, until you see the real meaning of your own purpose in life. So with that i strongely agree.

Life doesn't have any more intention nor purpose than a stick floating down a river.
It is just there.
It progresses.... it happens... it does what it does.
And eventually... no knowing when precisely.... that stick is going to hit the bank or a rock and break....
... Then nobody will even know it was ever there.
Honestly... you're better off not asking that question.
Asking that question might get you answers you don't want to hear..... teach you things you don't want to know. Some people get awfully miserable when the sum total of their worth is presented to them as nothing.

I think I agree. Life is a battle. It drops you down..
then helps you up..then drops you down...and you claw your way back up...and on, and on. It sways and swings and bends..tossing you about. But...there are lessons to be learned...lots of lessons....hence "until it makes you see".

there's a lyric in a song that i like very much:
"life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it!"
i think it makes clear the way i think; sometimes life sucks, but you have to keep on going to enjoy the parts where life does not suck. you can't have one without the other

Life is full of ups and downs.Ups are brought about by good spirits which are from God and downs are brought about by evil spirits from satan, but satan will not let us not live in peace. We will rebuke satan in the name of God to enable us live in peace.Life should be anything good and nothing should make us live it otherwise. It is too short to be spent in misery.

Life is about making the best of things. Life is what you make it. You have to create your own purpose.

Life is about whatever you want it to be. You didn't choose to be here but you can choose what meaning and purpose you ascribe to it.

From the moment we're born.....we begin to die.
Fairly accurate.
But it doesn't have to end at death......when you have Christ in your life.
