That has been the subject of debate upon many in biblical study groups and there are several schools of thought.

First of all the races were created on the sixth day creation. This is why Cain was able to travel to the land of Nod and find a wife there.

There is a difference between 'man' (Adam) and 'the man' (Ha Adam) -- who was the partner of Eve. Both are mentioned in the Bible and to discern the difference you have to take the writing back to the original translations.

The significance of Adam and Eve stems from the lineage of Christ, who was a member of the 'Adamic' race of peoples that include those who would become Levites (priests) as well as the others who were to become part of the tribes of Israel.

Noah was a part of the 'Adamic Race' and as such is a descendent of Christ.

Genesis 6:9 (King James Version) speaks of 'the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.'

This is why he was chosen to repopulate the earth upon completion of God's eradication of the evil people who had made Him regret making man in the flesh -- the geber (giants, offspring of the Nephilim, the sons of Cain and other malefactors who predominated what had become a world devoid of morals through the traditions of idolatry and baser instincts of the general populace.

Now, for the answer to your question:

1. Some schools of thought speculate that the flood did not kill everyone intended to die -- via resourcefulness unmentioned in the scriptures.

2. Other schools of thought interpret the original translations literally whereby they say that 'two of every flesh' were saved upon the ark; and this would include representative examples of people from the non-Adamic races.

3. Still others infer a literal interpretation of the translated scripture which implies a 'YES' to your question entirely.

I hope this helps.

Adam & Eve were the first 2 people in creation.....

Noah came from them as well.

So we all came from Adam & Eve.......there wasn't really a "restart" of sorts.......just a replenishing.

Yes, but Noah obviously traces his ancestry to Adam and Eve....
