If you have never seen this guy before the chances are you may never again. I cannot believe he did that, that was some serious drunken behaviour. I think you have every right to go back, it is your local and some drunken idiot should not put you off. When you go next time and he is there again, make the barstaff aware that he tried to cause a fight last time with you and they will keep an eye on him, plus, they will appreciate a heads up on this idiot. The fact that he backed down when you threatened him shows he was just trying to act big. Don't let this idiot stop you, just be the calm ones and tell the barstaff and then try and relax and enjoy your night.

End of the day you wads standing by your man, i would have done the same thing. I sound to me that he was not going to do it any way as people that do things like that just do it (no thing just act think after). You should go back to your local pub and tell them that you was not going to do it, and that you did it to shock the bloke to putting the bottle down. it was silly i no but it worked. And as it is your local they will no if you are a trouble maker or not. Go back at the end of the day you have not done any thing wrong. Go back in

go back to the pub and if the guy is still there then tell the bartender about what the guy did. I'm sure the owners or manager of the pub wouldn't want to have unstable and violent people in their place of business.

I dont think this drunk should push you out of your local. Go back tonight but be ready to inform bar staff that this guy maybe trouble if you see him. Chances are he wont be there, but go and try to enjoy the night. Drink makes some people complete idiots.

Obviously you were able to handle the situation, and I would guess the guy was loaded when he did that. Lots of people do strange stuff when they are drunk. Go, and if the guy shows up, stick close to your bf and face the guy. My guess is he will back off with both of you not afraid of him. He was looking to intimidate and he didn't get away with it. Good for you.

Yes you should. Don't let one bad instance spoil it for you. If you see the guy there tell the pub owner or security what happened last time and they will watch him closely.

change pubs and watch out for the mean drunk. if you spot him leave. these lead to legal problems which are expensive. they are avoidable for someone with you brains. who needs the trouble. shift reasonably far away. be alert in the future and watch for that sort of bloke and beat it. it is a pub and people get drunk. don't seperate from the herd. that is how predators chose their prey.

Tell the bouncer or someone in charge at the club what happened. They can keep this jerk from giving you and your bf any more problems.
