I dont think religious people are stupid, I just think they were mis-led and brainwashed from a very young age and now it is too late for a lot of them to see that. Human beings are supposed to be very intelligent by nature, but the more time that passes, the lazier we seem to get to educate ourselves. Religious people think they have all the answers so they refuse to even look at the points someone of a different belief could have. My question is how can you devote your entire life, what you do, how you do it, to something that there is absolutely no evidence ever happened? Its not stupid, but it's very naive and gullible, to just go, "oh, this book/writing/parchment from way back says it so it must be true" .

Why would u assume that a different religion than your own would be wrong? Its just different. As long as you believe that there is a power higher than yourself, thats all that matters really. If it happens to be Jesus, or God, or Allah, or Isis, who cares? You are not the almighty and you should never say something like "they will go to hell anyway" . You have no idea who is going were, pay attention to your own bussiness, believe in what you do, and leave it at that. Your life will be more at peace.

This is wrong because one who is practicing a religion is not stupid, but if he asked questions about the God and got an acceptable answer it is well and good. otherwise they will be following blindly is it not?. If any one has any sickness they use to ask who is the good doctor for particular disease and go to him. likewise for the soul sake they have to ask and get the answers regarding that and follow. Finding the truth is important.
Now a days all are asking for how to get more money and nobody want to know about God, but want to criticize those who are searching and following God.

Hi Rebecca,
I assume you are saying that unless everyone follows the same religion as yourself they are automatically doomed to go to hell.
Why?
Every person is entitled to follow their own religious beliefs and the fact that they do no subscribe to yours does not condemn them to eternal damnation.
A great many religions believe in the same God but worship him/her in different ways. Who is to say that their way is wrong.
Edgar Allan Poe wrote 'Man creates his own God' I take that to mean that each individual sees God in their own way.
I would never condemn anyone from following their own religion, but I would and do object to those who try to convert me to their religion and forsake my own.
If a person lives a good, helpful, caring and productive life but does not subscribe to any particular religion, I feel sure that when their time comes, they will also be welcome into the Kingdom of Heaven, whatever Heaven is.

if somebody is doing something a different way than you it doesn't mean it's wrong. some religions are wrong. there are many religions that are fine in the eyes of God. its not about religion to begin with, its about the Spirit. ...the heart.

That's not true. People from all walks of life, from hells angels to millionaire's sense the call of God, search the Bible for answers and come to faith for no other reason then God led them and made them hungry for the knowledge of him. Most Christians when they come to the knowledge of God wonder why the didn't see it earlier when it was so obvious after they come to the knowledge of God by faith.

No I do not. I actually admire most for having a strong spiritual practice of whatever kind. It is never wrong to to decide for yourself how the universe makes sense to you.

People who ask questions like this I think are stupid.
People who never seek knowledge outside their religion are stupid.
People who call people of other faiths "stupid" rather than attempting to show them the way of their own belief are stupid.
People who never consider the possibility that they are wrong, at least intellectually and logically, are stupid.
