I do not agree.
Science is a part of Religion.
Religion is like umbrella for humanity.
How did assume that God Almighty made science against Him self?
If you study Holy Scriptures, you will find signs of so many things we count in science.
Plus, Religion encourage to explore universe. No contradiction or clash with science.

Anything other than truth is not religion. Religion calls to be honest to evidences (signs). The method of Science is but a practical implementation of this call of Religion. As such, how can Science ever be in conflict with Religion and vice-versa?

In recent times, it is understood (or misunderstood?) by many people that Religion and Science lie at the two opposite corners of the line of Logic, Reason and Knowledge. Whatever basis they have for such a "belief", this opinion does NOT apply at all to Islam. Much of this attitude has crept in because the Christian views of Creation have been found unaaceptable with Scientific Realities. The Qur'aanic verses pertaining to Scientific events and phenomenon have got nothing to do with these Biblical ideas and are infact in perfect compatibility to the modern scientific findings.

there seems to be a sneaky assumption in your argument: that religion is obviously the path of God. Yet there are many religions and they contradict each other. There is no conflict of science versus religion. There is a conflict between protestants and western science. Yes the catholic church has its problems with scientists as well, but they simply used to prosecute scientists as heretics. A protestant is supposed to consult the bible first in every situation, a catholic can start wherever he wants, he just should not say anything the pope gets annoyed by. In protestantism in theory there is more freedom of speech than in catholicism, however there is less freedom of thought, so the freedom of speech is irrelevant.

sorry, I'm rambling terribly. But this is important: whether you can reconcile scientific findings with your religion heavily depends on your religion.

It's only in the creation story where science sometimes sound a little too much and against religion but most of the things in our daily life are based on science

You are Exactly right. That was a perfect statement... thanks so much for saying it.

There is darkness in both fields at the present time... when the light comes in both sides will be shaking hands.

Actually Science and Jesus say the same thing. Science is talking about unified field theory and Jesus also spoke of unification... "I am in the Father, you in me, and I in you." May they all come together in one.

You are right on target. Very good thinking.

This reference is not on science, but it explains the unification in the gospels.

Science and Religion/Faith are not mutually exclusive.

Don't listen to the evangelical atheist's on here that for some reason obsess about something they claim to not believe in.

Not against eac h other personally but belief varries, however there are many scientist who believe that there is God. It is only the atheist who refuse God to believe as if they are more intelligent than other scientist who believe in God. Pretentious men.

it's your misconception to think that god has created something against him.
no god says to worship him and do not believe in science
IT IS THE WAY YOU THINK!
religion teaches us to believe in GOD
while the science says to believe in the nature and the various natural phenomenon!!
even the science is run by the scientists itself which are humans and even they BELIEVE IN GOD AS WE DO!
the ultimate thing is that both religion and science are correct at their places SO ONE SHOULD BELIEVE IN BOTH OF THEM

If science was made by God, then with every advance in the field of science it would become more apparent. His existence would become more apparent. In my experience the opposite happens. With every advance in science, God loses his credibility.

No, I don't. Like another poster here said, science and religion should work together for the betterment of mankind.

I agree with you. Eventually, science will realize that there is a God.
