Not till after he arose from the grave. Read the gospels everytime Jesus spoke of His death and/or resurrection they were confused or changed the subject entirely. One place:

Matthew 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
Matthew 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
Matthew 20:21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

but afterward
John 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

The crucifixion was not hard to believe in, although I consider there to be some issue as to whether he was really dead when he was taken down. But traditionally it is the resurrection that is hard to believe, and only Doubting Thomas had to be convinced.

Edit: OK, I just watched the you tube video. You are really asking whether they believed the crucifixion was a final sin sacrifice. The speaker points out that they continued to make the customary sacrifices in the temple. I agree with him that if they wanted to make their point that Jesus put paid to that whole concept, they would not only have stopped making sacrifices in the temple, but publicized the fact, and why they were stopping.

But maybe they did it just to keep from getting in trouble with authorities who expected it. To us, that might sound cowardly, but perhaps it was just expediency.

P.S. I'm a former Christian, so take my ideas for what they are worth.
