In the theme tune to "The Fall Guy" television series, Lee Majors sings a line "I'm the unknown stuntman that made Clint Eastwood such a star", did he really act as a stuntman for Clint Eastwood, or was this purely fiction for the programme?

He did also make a reference to his wife of the time Farrah Fawcett in the theme tune too, so my question isn't as daft as it sounded!

Was his name in "The Fall Guy" Lee Majors? i.e. was he playing himself?

No. It was purely fiction.
