I am thirty four and wondering about this a lot. I don't really believe there is any girl out there for me. Should I just accept this and try to go on with my life?

No don't accept it! Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic but I believe the same thing, that there's someone out there for me too. I've always heard that when you stop looking then you'll find who you're looking for. I don't know how true that is, but I say never give up on that dream.

My uncle isn't a bad looking guy.
But all he does is work and stay in.
He's never that i know of had a long term relationship. Or even many short term ones. Because he doesn't try. He doesn't put himself out there.
The fact is.... you won't find love sitting at home. If you want someone... whether it's true love or not.. you have to go out and find them.
I do believe that everyone has someone somewhere.

Go on with life, have fun, and be open to all possibilities. You are very young. Accepting that there is nobody there for you at that age is very rude for yourself. There is actually nothing bad if you would choose to be single your whole life... but that has to be decided by you, not accepted because there "seems" to be nobody there. Learn to derive happiness not from others but from inside you. That is hard.... but is very rewarding.

Honestly.
I don't think anyone ever finds love BUT that Love finds them.⥠I know it sounds soo corny but, soo true. Just think, your other half is out there thinking the same thing about love.
I see it as the longer you go without it the more condensed/stronger it will be for you. In the mean while find out what is going on with you, work on you you.
And you are right , Not in thinking that there is no one out there for you BUT in Moving on. Love will gat ya.

I think u cant live without love its natures way. nature abhors a vacuum.living life without love is vacuum. once has to love and be loved and u cant go on with your life this way u have to look for true love u must find true love. love also complete the circle of life

you make your very own happiness and misery... If your happy with just you then keep to that but it doesn't sound like happiness, you should do something to change this and of course you can at any moment, you just aren't seeing this as truth... until you do, you will be alone..

my adopted father never found anybody but he is happy. so it is possible. just be yourself and someone will love you for being who you are.
