i have a dog i love very much but my mom is very abusive. and she hits him for no reason and screams at him and chokes him with his leash. my mom is very bitchy and hard headed so please do not suggest talking to her about it. i have already tried and it does not work at all. and please do not say re-home him or any of that nonsense. just because my stupid mom does not like him doesn't mean i want to give him away. thanks. i appreciate your help.

What your mom is doing is ABUSE. Try to keep the dog away from her if you can. Honestly, what she is doing is a jailable offense..it's animal cruelty. If she's not careful, that dog WILL fight back one day and I can pretty much guarantee that your mom will lose.

Who takes care of the dog?
Who walks him when it rains?
Maybe if you bear any burden the dog places on
your Mom, her temper will improve?
Otherwise, even though you don't want to hear it,
Getting the dog a good home is the best thing for him.
Do you really love him? How much?

well gee it seems that you are all out of options if you dont want to talk to her about it or give him to a GOOD home. you obviously dont care enough about him to give him a GOOD home. you would rather complain about how your mom is so mean to him. what advice are you looking for here? some one to cry about it too? that isn't going to help that poor defenseless animal against someone who is mistreating it and im very sorry to say this but your mother should be knocked out for harming an animal that only wants to give you love and comfort! you should feel ashamed of your self for letting your mother continue to treat him that way and not say anything to her about it!

maybe your moms jealous and she's not really into dogs or animals for that matter.anyways just don't let the dog come near her.dogs are friendly if we are treating them right.your mom is your mom so just undestand her.if things cannot be avoided and dog's health is at stake,you better giveit to someone who will treat it right.
