i am 19 years old and i rarely drink alcohol, because i am a nervous person and i get extremeley paranoid. i was wondering can drinking about 10 percent of alcohol like wine coolers (my fave) has anybody ever known about it killing someone?

The only way alcohol can kill you is if you drink so much of it that you get alcohol poisoning, or choke on your own vomit. Poisoning usually occurs from mixing different types of alcohol together, and lots of it. If you only had a cooler, you have nothing to worry about.

First of all, most wine coolers have between 3-4% aalcohol, not 10%. Second, if you live in the US, chances are at 19 you're too young to drink alcohol anyway. So I can't recommend you do it.
However, that being said: YES, too much alcohol can kill you...it doesn't matter whether the alcohol comes from beer, wine, wine coolers, cocktails, etc. If you get too much in your system at once, you'll be in big trouble! Assuming that you live somewhere where it's legal for you to drink, if you have one or two don't sweat it. But if you drink a ton of the stuff...

You would have to seriously guzzle-your body clears alcohol at the rate of approximately one wine cooler per hour, so just limit yourself to 1-2 an hour and no worries.
Now long term alcohol use is another story.

Alcohol poisoning is not uncommon. When you remove the water from alcohol you have ether. Ether is what they use to put you to sleep before an operation. When you drink, you are basically putting your brain to sleep - it is possible to drink so much that your brain goes to sleep completely and your hear/lungs stop functioning, leading to death.
When I was in high school, a friends mom was an alcoholic. The last time she got drunk she fell, broke her neck and choked to death in her vomit.

relax man as long as you drink all alcohol slowely you can never die just take your time start as early as possible and you will be fine
