macs are fine for business - use MS Office for the mac.

Say goodbye to Windows update, goodbye to your antivirus program, goodbye to updating virus definitions, goodbye spyware/adware checkers and their updates. You'll save heaps of time.

macs cost about the same now that intel is inside.

Software is a bit more expensive, but that is about the only downside and get a good mouse and keyboard - mac's still suck in that department.

If you are careful, then there is not a problem for sharing documents with Windows machines using Office or you can just run Windows and Office on the mac too if you really want to.

If John C. Dvorak can recommend a mac, so can I.

Macs are not good for business. There are major incompatibility issues between Mac and PC, even if the file is made with same program. I've seen people mess up their Power Point presentations because they compiled it on a Mac and presented it on a PC.

Macs are more for multimedia, not for business, I would use Windows XP pro, or even xp home, Vista works alright.
