Why is it that when Satan, (Lucifer, the devil, or demons). is confronted by Jesus Christ, he always recognizes Jesus and identifies him as LORD?
If Satan himself recognizes this, why doesn't all mankind also recognize this and admit Jesus is Lord?

Satan used to be an angel, but he got "full of himself" and decided that he could do a better job of ruling Heaven than God. His rebellion got him booted out, but he still knows what God is doing, he knows scripture, and he knows who Jesus is and what Jesus is doing.
Evidently, per the story of Job, Satan even "visits" with God from time to time.
As for mankind, we are free to do whatever we please, be it righteous or evil. We can have dealings with God or Satan as we please. There is no "rule" that says we have to recognize Jesus, or even God for that matter.
The truth is put before us, and it is up to us to discern what that truth is, and whether or not to listen and obey.

First of all, Satan relizes somthing that most peole havent been able to comprehend for over 2000 years, Jesus was God made flesh, Jesus christ was the human embodiement of the creator on earth, and Satan would not address God as anything less than "Lord". Lucifer knows that he cannot beat God, and satan serves a purpose in the Plan of God.

the bible says "every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus is lord." Satan blurs and turns the hearts of men hard against god, Jesus, and makes them ignorant. but man can decide if god is real or not. basically some men allow the devil to blur their vision and tell them lies. Satan turns them away from what is really going on. Satan is known as the "father of lies", "lion seeking whom he can devour." man is afraid, man is afraid to be wrong. men don't like to admit they are wrong. they think they know everything about anything. that is why all mankind don't admit Jesus is lord.

If you were Satan and doing what he does, would you want anyone, great or small, to know the truth about anything concerning the Christ?
