Why do you ask? Would you really read an answer and say to yourself, "Oh, so that confirms it!" Come on, look for valid sources on your own. It's a great question that DESERVES your attention and research so you can make an intelligent decision. Note that every religion claims we have a soul and we go on living.

K, Dave, I am the only 'Wacko' that is going to tell you that I have died, not once but twice. Yes, there is a white light, yes, you do see loved ones. They just are more light and presence than they are shape and form. You know they are there, you sense their bond, their comfort, their presence, their love. You hear without hearing and see without seeing. You are weightless and buoyant, you are going faster than you have ever gone before in your life. The strange thing is the lack of negative emotions. I did not want to come back, I wanted to stay. I had just lost my Dad six months before and I never got to say goodbye to him...I know he was there. I was told that my time was not yet full and that I had unfinished work. I was told to go back to my corporal being, full knowledge, that I was coming back some day, just not this time. The pain as I re-entered was excruciating and I felt a mourning, a grieving for something wonderful that I had just lost. Here I am 7 years hence, raising my Grandchildren.

I thought about this a lot and just think that we are going to see darkness and disappear forever. We are going to be nothing. Kinda depressing if you think about it to much.

Well, I think your body starts to decay (obviously) and your soul/spirit...I almost think that some people get reincarnated and become another person because they didn't do something they were supposed to in their life, or they were supposed to help someone out but didn't....as for the rest, I'm not quite sure. But I doubt a loving God would send anyone to Hell...saying that he exists...if he exists...still questioning that too.

I for one believe in A Heaven and Hell, for it says in the bible that they are true, and Christ my savior also talks about hell more than he does heaven warning us of it fury, and torture... And also, why not believe in a Heaven, because it is way better than thinking, "there is no such thing as a spirit that have, but only that my body will rot in the ground for eternity, and b eaten by maggots..."

Your body rots. Your consciousness ceases to exist, like turning off your computer and smashing it to pieces.
