im 19 year old male... going on 20, and i have this really hot blonde math prof (young 30\s). She has caught me checking her out many times.... so today I went to her office and we talked for a bit then i asked if she wanted to get a coffee and she paused for a long time and then just said "not right now but thanks".
do u think she hates me now? what do i do next time i go to class? act like it never happened?

maybe that was the wrong thing to do because you dont even know if she is interested in you, or married, or even if she thinks dating her students is a good idea. i dont think she hates you but maybe she feels a little comfortable that you came on to her like that. next time you go to class just act like you usually do..just be regular as if it never happend. you dont want to make her feel uncomfortable or make the situation worser then it is. so no flirting or funny stuff go to class and thats it..thats what it is for just to go to school. cant you find any young ladies your age? im sure theres manyyyy walking around campus..dating professors and teachers and people you work with isNOT a good idea. TRUST ME! and then it could only lead into bigger problems because just think if everyone finds out..maybe she could get introuble and loose her job and then the kids would think shes giving you good grades because you both date..it will be a disaster trust me! so this not working out is a good thing because something is telling you something that it isnt meant to happen. im telling you. trust me. i dated someone i worked with for about a year and it was a HUGE mess...i would never want to do it again for it to fail like that. just keep it like it is..think about what i said. good luck!

first of all act normal, and stop staring.. she wants to have a coffee but there are ethics involved with her dating students.. so if u want, say to her that you are sorry for overstepping your bounds, and see if what she says.. she may say thank u. she will appreciate ur recognizing her position.. and she may sya later when the student teacher relationship is over, .. find out if she is in a relationship.. she may have a challenge ther.. just be very mature about the apology.. not fast nervous squeaky voiced, but casual, " by the way I found out about the ethics rules for profs, and I am sorry I overstepped, ...." and see what she says.. but remain calm..and mature. this is what she will like..

she probably wants 2, but being your teacher she does not want to cause any trouble. find a student your age and when you go back to class just act like nothing ever happened.
