My song "Dont Push Your Belief"

Here's her comment

"It's old testament versus new testament.
God grows up in the bible.
In the old testament, he's like a kid with a magnifying glass who's got an ant farm for his birthday. (dun dun DUN)
In the new testament, through the big J.C. he's like a wise, humanistic fellow.
Sorry, God"

You are absolutely right. There is a serious disconnect here. I believe the God of the New Testament seized control of heaven and cast out, imprisoned, or destroyed the God of the Old Testament. I like the God of the New Testament much better.

Almighty God is constant. He did not 'grow up'
It was Jesus who ' grew up'.
The two are not the same.
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner.

Man kind is trapped in time.
anything is possible.
Does any child think that their parents are wise when that child is still a child? Maybe her understanding of God has changed.
God is Eternal and unchanging.

Genesis 21:33
Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of the Lord, the Eternal God. (NIV) http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?word=ge+21:33&version=niv&st=1&sd=1&new=1&showtools=1

I agree with the part about god being like a kid with a magnifying glass and an ant farm. The rest, no.
