the brain when in the alpha 4 level of sleep exibits extremely powerful combinations of natural chemicals, similiar to speed, which pushes the thought process thru the roof. It really seems like a long dream but is was actually a fast one.

Most definitely! One night, I slept for about eight hours and had a pretty short dream. But I fell back asleep for like four hours, and it felt like eight! What the hell!?

Because time is goes by alot faster in our subsconscious minds. Thats why we hardly ever remember our dreams. Only the tail ending.
