A good German shepherd is near the epitome of what a perfect dog should be. Intelligent, trainable, loyal and protective (and by protective I do NOT mean aggressive!) They have been bred to work for and with man. They are a very versatile breed: obedience, herding, tracking, rescue, protection. They are a good looking dog.
Siberians are stunning in their looks...their wolf like appearance, some of the facial masking, some having blue eyes. They have been bred to pull sleds....run away from people. Many Siberian breeders themselves warn that Sibs are not a breed for just anyone.
My choice: the dog bred to work "with" man...the GSD

I have owned both but my experience is that the GSD is the better choice. The GSD is a lovable, intelligent, loyal, and protective dog. The Husky is all of these also but a Husky is bred to run. They are extremely hard to keep in a yard. If they want out they will find a way. Most German Shepherds have a sense of duty to protect their family "herd" So they tend to stay where their herd is. But just like all dogs they need training and time spent with them. The choice is entirely up to you and your lifestyle.

Well i like all dogs but i think i prefer a Siberian Husky.

I personally prefer a German Shepherd. In all honesty, I have never had a Siberain Husky.

SIBERIAN HUSKY!! I had one and they are amazing dogs!! They are great family dogs but they do need attention.. If you dont have much time for animals I would not recommend a husky!! Good luck!

I would have to say I prefer a German Shepherd Dog. I have 3 and would not trade them for the world.
German Shepherd Dogs are like potato chips ...........you can't have just one.

german shepherd...they're so cute with their big ears. and all the ones that we have had in my family have lived for a long time
