does it annoy anyone else?
im 13 and find it aggrivating
someone will be with a guy for like 20 minutes & all over their myspace/ school books it will be like "i love justin" or whatever
i have been with my bf 3 months [today is our 3 month] & people ask me all the time "do you love him"
&& are shocked when i say "i love him as a friend but just like him alot"

i mean at that young, no one really knows what love is.
&&my friend who was with her bf for 11 months said the EXACT same thing when i asked her if she loved her bf after 11 months

i think your a very smart girl...there is no way you could know if you truly love someone at your age...i think they are acting childish and your acting very mature!!!

Um excuse me but I'm 13 and I can say that I'm in love. Just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. How do you know 13-year olds cant love???? Don't judge when you don't even know what you're talking about. And don't tell me I'm not in love either, because I have never been so sure of anything in my life.

People are always saying age is just a number, so how is it any different in this case? Just because you're a certain age doesn't mean you can't love. Just because someone's 13 doesn't mean they can't understand and feel love. Yes, it's stupid when people say they love someone after like 2 days of going out, but as the people above have stated, it takes time for love to develop. So why can't 13 year olds who really know and like someone, love them after time? You need to give love a chance. Age doesn't matter.

You're right, 12 and 13 year olds don't have enough experience and knowledge what love is. What upsets me is that those reality tv shows and all this kinda crap out there inspires these preteen girls to act and dress sexy just to get boys attention and have boyfriends like nothing. I'm not saying that every girl is like that and I'm certainly not saying this about you because you seem to have your head on straight, but you know that this is the way a lot of girls act at your age.

Ur right... I'm 13 and my boyfriend (not anymore) told me he loved me. I just didn't know what love was and I still don't, I didn't think he did either. because I didn't tell him that back, he broke up with shortly after. He was a bad boyfriend and if he did love me he would've understood that I needed more time. Saying "i love u" is just asking 4 trouble @ my age.

You are wise and continue to think for yourself and stay in contact with how you feel about things for the rest of your life...you go girl. You are right...real love takes time to develope...it is not just an attraction for another person...it is much deeper than that...things like respect and appreciating that person for being the type of person they are are just a few factors that help us to love someone.

Sounds as if you have a very good head on your shoulders. You are very right. That word is used way to often to describe what amounts to a crush on someone or just being attracted to someone. It means soooo much more. When you fall in love, you will know from your heart, believe me.

That used to annoy me a lot, and still bugs me when anyone after just a day or something of dating are now "madly in love".

13 is too young anyway..

i think you're really mature for noticing this.
no offense, but i agree with you when you say you're kind of young to really know what love is [aside from family and stuff]

i think i am too and i'm 15.
it's good to take things slow :] this way i bet you and your bf will be together for a long time.

yeah well when i get a boyfriend i say ilove you to him everytime we say good-bye. but i dont think i really love him. i mean i'd die for him but you love them more as if they were related to you. no one knows really what love is, but i highly doubt anyone at the age 13 is in LOVE. i mean its possible... one of my older best friends got together with her husband when they were in teh 6th grade and they now are married and have two children. they've always loved each other, but i highly doubt they knew that at 13 ya know? well yup sorry if i didnt fully answer your question... love is a hard topic :/

I agree completely. You can be attracted to someone at that age, and like them a lot, even persue a relationship, but you don't truly know what love is yet.

Good job! You can tell that you are very mature for your age.
