There's a woman in my department that has been condesending and short with me when I was training and would sometimes refused to help me even though she was supposed to do the training. Very two-faced.
One minute she's cool the next she's talking crap about you behind your back. She's treated me like an idiot.
Today when everybody left the office and it was just her and I she called Human Resources to complain about how she's treated "badly" and that our boss has favorites. All because she wants to start getting off work earlier on our busiest day!!
I called my boss on her cell and told her what I heard. Ofcourse she was very upset.
Do you think what I did was mean or wrong??

that will show her to treat people like "idiots"...this clearly shows she's the bigger asshole for judging others too quickly...and you work for your boss, not her! So don't feel guilty about it, i'm sure if she was in your position, she would of done the same or even worse. good luck.

What you did was immature and unprofessional; this isn't Jr. High. Its none of your business. Do you think in the business world everyone that trains you is going to be sweet and nice?

You need to get a backbone and stop being so soft and sensitive. If she won't train you on something, then ask someone else.

You tried to kiss your boss' *** to gain favor. In the end it will backfire on you. Stop acting like a spoiled rich kid on their first job. Jobs can be tough sometimes. This girl training you will soon be gone because she's miserable at her job. Just work hard, keep your mouth closed, and learn like a sponge. Be pleasant and when she wont help you, get someone else to help. What comes around goes around.

Good luck.

She shouldn't go behind the boss's back-if she has a problem she needs to take it to the boss face to face. That's the professional, adult way. You did the right thing.

I don't think you were wrong. I'm not sure what exactly I would have done in your situation, but I'd personally have my loyalty to my boss than that woman.
