Some Christians who see the abusubness and impossiblity of the 6 days of creation being literal days like to think that the 6 days of creation is instead not to be taken literarily. They take the verse where it says a thousand years is like a day in God's eye as their basis. But they forgot something. Adam's died at the age of 900 something. If God created Adam on the 6th day and one day equals to 1000 days, then by the end of 7th day Adam would have way surpassed his age??!!! And as a side note, the orginal word "yom" has already been proven to be a 24-hour day by Christians themselves!

How would God reveal this to man when time,days,hours ,minutes are man made? You're suggesting God invented time? God measures nothing in time. Man does. Do you honestly feel God could explain his complex creation to man and have them comprehend it? Those same men thought God wanted them to stone people to death for sin! They couldn't even get that right. Jesus had to come and straighten it out.Throughout the bible the number 7 was to signify completeness, not time.

Yes. And another thought. Adam and Eve brought sin and death into the world because of their disobedience. If the earth was millions of years old or even years old, there would have been deaths before the fall of man which brought sin and death upon the world.
If the account of Adam and Eve is not true then Jesus, the second Adam, would not be necessary for our salvation. Salvation through Jesus, is needed because of the fall of man.

Okey, but the thing is that in ancient Greece a year was like a few months, so literally, a kings reign was like 300 years, and then he died, sacrificed. Now if you can say that that is a lie then you don't know much do you. Also, which was around first, the bible or them Torah? In the Torah (so i have been told) it states that Adam and Eve were the first 2 Jewish people and not the first 2 people. IMO just another outstanding stretching of the truth from the Christian side of things.

Yes I agree with you that one day for Allah the only one God is thousands of years.But in the holy Qur'an Surah 12 Al Sajdah verse 4 (12:4) God stated that He created skies and earth and what existed(the contents of this universe) between both in 6 periods and God did not state it in 6 days.One period of God is 1000 years.It can not be interpreted as a day in this world.After 6 periods then God took a rest at ArasyThere is no helper and protector except Allah .On verse 5 God stated that He regulates all affairs from the skies up to this earth in one day that is 1000 years in line with our computation.

Although I believe in the Power of God and God could have made the universe in a snap of a finger, I believe everything was made in several phases, let there be light (THE BIG BANG).

Question: If its a 24 hour day and the world is at most 10000 years, how do you explain light years and the fact that astronomers can see 14 billion years into the past in their telescopes?

Yes, God created everything in 7 days. He is GOD,
why would He need more time than that?!!! Our human minds are just too limited to understand it, so we have to take it on faith.

this actually raises another question. why should anything in the bible be taken literally? or taken at all for that matter. granted it's an epic story, but not believable by any means. like a movie with a good concept and a bad exposition. don't waste your time, there are better books you could read.
