I don't think that would be a good idea. Mostly because they do not only export oil to the US. If the US took the oil then that would be taking the oil from the other countries that would be getting the oil too. I don't think the other countries would like that. Most of the other countries believe we shouldn't be there anyway. We don't need to give ourselves more excuses to stay at war.

No. If we did than we would just be fighting for to oil and not for the freedom and democracy of the Iraqi people. This would also make us look back in the eyes of our allies and it can also be use as a propaganda tool for terrorist groups.

No, democracy in the Middle East, and a stable Iraq will be sufficient.

That MAYBE works if they ASK us to come there. We came without permission, so maybe they should charge us rent for the time we stay.
