I'm not a virgin, no. Nor would I want to be for my wedding night. My first time sucked and it was uncomfortable as hell and I was so nervous that I didn't even want to move or anything (and he wasn't good at coaxing either...meh.). I wouldn't want that on my wedding night, no.

Wedding nights are filled with so much expectation and follow so many big changes, not many couples end up enjoying them as much as they dreamed about. The main thing is to be compassionate and understanding of your mate without ridicule. When trust is built you guys will build up steam.

*Yeah, it's what I thought. Just because two people are virgins or one person is a virgin does not mean that the first time will be awkward. Many married, in love couples have had first time sex and felt completely comfortable, because they were completely in love and secure, and were emotionally and mentally ready for the experience. That's the key. You can have sex 300 times and still be nervous your first time with someone new.

maybe it could be all of the above. Of course one should be nearvous (especially if its their first time) and that leaves room for a little awkwardness. But its possible to have a fun and exhilirating experience in the same encounter.

Depends on the people and how comfortable they are with each other. Nothing wrong with being nervous, that will work it's self out if the two are loving, caring, kind, tender........etc

If its your first time of sexual intercourse then yes, it can be a little awkward and you may feel nervous. But that's ok!
