Can suicide evr be ok with God? Are there any biblical scriptures to support this? If God never gives us more than we can bear, does he understand when we can't take it anymore and just snap?

Suicide is usually a result of circumstances in your life over whelming you to the point where you feel unworthy of Gods love and help.
Jehovah reads hearts and gives that information to Jesus who will resurrect our loved ones when he rules as king and priest over the earth for a thousand years.
For biblical scriptures on this subject as well as the condition of the dead, call or attend the meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses for real bible based answers or visit www.watchtower.org

i honestly think he will forgive about suicide. he is a just God. so say for example someone had schizophrenia, depression, or any mental disorder and they committed suicide, he would understand thier situation and realize it wasnt them committing suicide it was the disorder. i dont know of any biblical scriptures but im sure its in their somewhere. although noone has the right to take anyones life under any circumstances. i think this is a just reason and God is the only one to judge in any situation

I think if you follow Judeo-Christian beliefs, than there are no justifications. Even the mass suicide at Masada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masada) in Israel, which was done to avoid enslavement and torture, it was still considered a sin. I think more important than the bible's implications are a persons intent. It is often said, and may even be said in the bible, that G-d doesn't give us more than we can handle. If we look at our struggles as challenges to our faith and our abilities, we will find ourselves capable of coping with more than we ever thought. For a long time i thought of ways to end the struggle...there were problems, at home, I was sexually assaulted, lost my job, et. al and i know it sounds trite, but i hung in there and eventually got past that time in my life. Despite lingering financial debts, most of the bad stuff eventually dissapated. Hang in there!

God actually does give us more than we can bare. The scripture you are actually referring to is "God will not tempt us beyond that which we can withstand." This is often misquoted and restated to sound as if God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Our job is to endure to the end, no matter how difficult our situation is. But many times, we see that people Are given more than they can bare (cancer, disease, accidental deaths, natural disasters, ect.) This doesn't change my belief that God is real, but it lets me know that God sometimes will test us with our lives. Isn't that more than you can bare?

depends on your definition of suicide. if suicide is the willful act of taking your life, then i personally believe it never is ok. however, if the person was out of their mind and didnt know what they were doing, then im sure God isn't going to punish them because it wasn't their choice, even though to us it would look like it was. that's why it's never right to judge, cause we don't know the intentions of other people, so we don't know if that's what they meant to do or not.

Here's my opinion. Life and death matters belong in the hands of God. You do not have the right to take a life whether it is someone else's or your own, however I obviously am not God, so I don't really know.

well, I suppose suicide takes the choice out of god's hands. Like, he is the one who created you, he is the one who decides when it is time to go. I don't think suicide is ever OK, and not for religious reasons. It is saying I quit, that I don't want to try anymore. That even though there are people who love me, it isn't enough for me to want to live. I'd rather you die by accident than your own hand if you are to go.

When I was young, I was told you would go to hell if you committed suicide because you despaired, and when you lose hope it is the same as losing faith in God.

well considering you have a brain to think for yourself, its your own free will to take your life. Because you have the ability to think takes the whole equation of god away.

You do realize that god is imaginary right?
