Not sure why this question is in the R&S section, but okay, here goes....
I love the soft, squishy down pillows - not the kind with feathers poking through, but the soft, downy ones that can be squished to mold to the contours of your neck. Any other kinds give me a headache because my neck gets raised up too much.
1. Down pillow
2. Difficult to sleep with other pillows? - YES
3. Do I chat with my pillow? - only when i have had to sleep on another pillow, and then I say "Ah pillow - how nice to see you again!"
4. I already know how to chat with my pillow - no need to learn.

1. Soft fiberfill (I'm alergic to down pillows.)
2. Absolutely. Who knows who's drooled on someone else's pillow -- if not worse?
3. I have had the occasional fit of sobbing into my pillow, as well as smacking it a good one in lieu of whatever it was that I *really* wanted to smack. But actual chats, no.
4. Possibly, but my stuffed dog "Sleepy" will be very jealous if I do. He feels that he has the absolute right to my undivided attention, and since he's been with me for all but about a year of my life, there's probably some justification for his viewpoint.

1. What type of pillow do you like? "Hide My Vibe Pillow" w/ leopard print cover..
2. Do you find it difficult to sleep on other pillows? Yes, as other pillows don't contain my special toys..
3. Do you ever chat with your pillow? Not with the pillow but sometimes with the contents..
4. Are you willing to learn to chat with your pillow? No thanks, I am satisfied with my "chats" with the contents..

I have two foam pillows. They took me 21 years to find. I bought them at Bed, Bath & Beyond 5 years ago and they are one of the most amazing investments I've ever made. My life would not be complete with out my pillows.
And yes, I sleep best with my own pillows.
Chatting? I have imagined that my pillow was this one ex-girlfriend lying next to me. But we didn't talk.
[Don't tell anyone.]

Do I only get one? I sleep with three! (I guess I am anti pillow monogamous!)
My favorite is big a fluffy one...I call him "Mr. Fluffy". (really)
We seldom speak, but I have been known to drool on him.
Pillow talk...willing to learn....sure!
EDIT:
I once had a feather pillow, but I ate it....I woke up a little "down in the mouth"
