long beach.....clean, and neat sand. the one thing it has over jones beach is it's not that crowded. beautiful beach

Only those who live in Long Beach are allowed on the beach there between Memorial and Labor Days. Before and after the beaches at Long Beach are open to the public. Jones Beach is the nicest beach in the region but it's on long island. The best beach in NYC is Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn.

Those beaches are from long island. THe best NYC beach, dont know probably rockaway but NYC has crappy beaches.
