Christians themselves don't claim to be perfect, why would anyone else?
The first requirement in becoming a Christian is to admit that you are a sinner.

Because they think that since they've either been baptized or is a pastor or the daughter or son or a relative of them that means that they are suppose to do NOTHING wrong and suppose to be saints and never be unperfect. Of course the Bible says we should TRY to be perfect it doesnt mean that we're perfect! WE ARE HUMANS, we DO mistakes. People can not expect us to be perfect all the time! Like I said we are Only human and we DO, do mistakes. If you have any other questions please e-mail me at michelle_beauty101@yahoo.com

No one thinks you all are perfect, but some among you have this rather rude habit of telling OTHER people what is wrong with them. So, when a Christian does something "wrong," especially the type who judges others, people will rub the Christian's face in the failure.

Aren't Christians supposed to be easily recognizable from the heathen masses?
I would expect Christians to be like Christ and the difference between Atheists and Christians very apparent, but it's not. What Christians say they believe and how they live is often completely contradictory.
I haven't met any "Christ-Like" Christians yet. If JC was real I suspect he'd be kind of disappointed actually.

Nobody in this earth is perfect, those who think they are, need therapy!! hehehe we as individuals make alot of mistakes and sometimes take things for granted!! and that ladies and gentlemen is my opinon! the only person who is perfect is God, who has never commited a sin. Jesus the son of the living God has never commited a sin as well. this is an example of being perfect.

Perhaps because most of the words coming out of Christians mouths about such topics are criticizing other people for not being perfect and saying and doing things that they consider wrong (whether or not the person themselves consider it wrong).
I guess those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.
If Christians were less judgmental, they would no doubt receive less judgment. Ever hear anyone coming down on Buddhists for not being perfect? It's because they don't judge other people.

Thank God He does not operate that way. No one is perfect except God there is a lot of legalism in churches and in the world. I am a christian and I made mistakes I payed dearly for it made me more loving and compassionate and makes me appreicate my husband all the more. No where is the Bible does it say we have to be perfect but by Gods grace we are forgiven Amen.

I don't think that, HOWEVER
That is the air that many give off -that by merely being Christian they have already achieved perfection and thus can look down upon others.

Because Christ was sinless, non-believers hold Christians to that same litmus. It only shows their inability to think for themselves and live with reality. We are all humans and we all make mistakes. Period.
Christians aren't perfect, but we're FORGIVEN.
