Heres an easy way the incorporates both of your favorites!
Put the pork chops in a slow cooker/crockpot and mix a package of onion soup mix with about 1 C of water. Pour over the pork chops and turn heat on medium until the prok chops are cook through-probably about 2 hours. (The slow cooker I use has temperature settings and I put it on 275 for 2 hours.) After the pork chops are done, turn the slow cooker off. Now take a package of fresh mushroom and cut them up-you can use canned too but freah are much better. Pour about 2 Tbsp of olive oil into a saute pan and saute the mushrooms and 1 chopped onion, season with salt and pepper to taste and a few dashes of worstichere sauce. Now add enough flour to make a gravy-you may need to add a little bit of milk to the gravy to thin it out-it just depends on how you like it.
Put the pork chops on a plate and pour your mushroom and onion gravy over.
This goes great served over steamed rice and works best for me with boneless centercut pork chops. If you use breakfast chops, which are much thinner, just cut down the cooking time.
Happy eating and I hope you enjoy! :)

I prefer smothered boneless pork chops.
I use my # 12 black iron dutch oven
Brown 8 to 10 boneless pork chops in a little oil on high heat. After the chops are browned add 2 chopped yellow onions, two cups mushroom slices and two chopped bell peppers. Season to taste. Once the vegetables are wilted add two cups water and put on a medium fire. After the chops have steamed for about 90 minutes you have something to talk about. Enjoy

Quick and easy, but very delicious. One of my family's favorites served over brown rice
Mushroom Pork Chops
4 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste
1 onion, chopped
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.
In a large skillet, brown the chops over medium-high heat. Add the onion and mushrooms, and saute for one minute. Pour cream of mushroom soup over chops. Cover skillet, and reduce temperature to medium-low. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes, or until chops are cooked through.
Enjoy

Baked in a shallow pan with sauerkraut is good if you like kraut.
Also baked with applesauce. Or sliced tart apples like Granny Smith. Both are popular with my Czech relatives.
