HAHAHAH OMG I just pictured that! awww poor doggie! Wow he musta been stupid to not know the car was coming. WOW Some dogs have SERIOUS issues! Hahaha Did i tell you the story of my 11 yr old bro when he got chased by a chiuhaua (SP?) We walked over to the mailbox and suddenly a little chihuaua came up to me and my bro and started barking at us. My bro chickened out and made a stupid decision to run,but i stood still so the dog didnt chase me. The cute little puppy chased my brother all the way down the street and my bro was screaming the whole way down!ahahah wow that was memorable. We still tease him for being scared of a little chihuaua! After all, my bro was four times his size! ahah I saw the dog again a few days later and found out he's actually a coward. I suddenly turned on the dog (looking very ferocious) and the little puppy turned and ran for his dear life. AHAHA

I don't know why some dogs do that. Some certainly seem to be more aggressive than others. I am happy that you were not attacked. Maybe you can carry some sort of walking stick with you for protection though, just in case.

they don't. they have prey drive and misdirected it leads to humans being bitten or attacked. Owners FAULT 99 percent of the time. The news doesn't want the truth, just drama.
read the book Fatal Dog Attacks by Karen Delise, it will open your eyes to the bs the media shoves down your throats and the knee jerk reaction people have to dogs like pits and rotts. For crying out loud a pomeranian killed a baby in 2002, and did they want to make that a big deal? no, and I don't see them on the list of BSL pushers either...

Some dogs just have personality quirks like that. I know a lot of dogs that bark when people go by their homes because they're territorial. Some people, when they're closer to the dog, have a certain smell on them that attracts dogs to them. That's sad he got hit, though, I hope he's ok. :(

Because certain brain wave patterns that are broadcasted through vibrations in the voice send signals to the dogs psyrecepters communicating to them that persons motives, and/ or intentions. If they are interpreted as dangerous they could cause the dog to seemingly attack for seemingly no reason, in the defense of his/ her current owner and his/her self.
Thank you come again.

I dont know why dogs are like that. They're so stupid. But remember, if it comes too close, punch it in the nose!! Thats what i was always told. Some dogs were taught to attack, but if that dog would've gotten to you, you could've sewed the owners for that dog not being put up!

I imagine the dog thought you were on it's territory. The people should of been more mindful of the door, but no one is perfect.
