why is it that the guy i like has a split personality?
he is shy when
- he doesnt start the convo
- doesnt know what to talk about
- always walks in and out of the room
- hard to know what he wants to say
- is always starin at the ground a lot

then when he is happy he is
-loud and funny. actually wanting to talk to me
- teasing and joking about
- his face lit up when he saw me, since we are long distance and we only see each other in a while.
- he started to tease me about my name
- is always talking really really loudly, when he doesnt even need to
- is always trying hard to impress me and say stupid stuff
- is always laughing at absolutely nothing
- always annoys me and makes fun of me.

i really dont understand his behaviour sometimes and its making it really hard for us to remain friends, because we are communicating less and less. makes me feel bored because i am always on the go and wanting to have fun, like when i touched his stuff he got real aggro bout it?

It sounds to me that you two are both in a relationship that isn't matched up with the right chemistry. What attracted you to this person in the first place? Was it the fact that he was shy, or did you happen to see the outgoing personality? Oftentimes, when we enter a relationship the very thing that we were first attracted to may become the thing that breaks the relationship. But after reading your discouragement and hearing the frustration in your plea I think that maybe this person isn't at the same maturity level you are.

In any relationship, communication is key and if he/she isn't comfortable talking to you then maybe there is a problem. You mentioned that he starts speaking loudly when he is happy. Have you considered that he is most confident when he is happy? Whether we as women believe it or not, there are some men out there (more than you would imagine) that are insecure when it comes to speaking to the opposite sex, especially if he likes that woman.

Remember when you were in high school and it seemed like the boys were doing outrageous things just to get the girls attention. Well, sadly to say, even though men are all grown up things really haven't changed that much.

What you really need to do in this situation is ask yourself if you want to pursue this relationship and if you feel it is salvagable. If not, you need to explain to your counterpart that you feel he is a really nice guy, however you aren't on the same level and you think it's best to part ways.

You are thinking too much and weaving too much of your own feelings into the situation to be accurate in your observations.
