talk about yourself, talk about what youre doing, did, going to do. vice versa, talk about colors, shapes, letters that look cool. entertain each other with words... so you dont have to rely on each others looks to keep the relationship going... itll last longer

Find out what his interests are and talk about that as much as you can!
Don't feel like you have to carry the conversation, either.
Ask him about what he likes to do and why he likes to do it, and who he does it with and why he does it with those people (like skateboarding or whatever).
Ask him if he's ever broken a bone or had to be taken to the hospital.
Ask him who his craziest relative is in his family.

Find common likes and dislikes. Talk about your futuristic goals and places you want to visit. Dream vacations, or what you would do if you had endless supply of money. What would you spend it on? You can find out what kind of values they have by hearing their dreams.

Ask him what he likes to do...and go from there...then you can share something about you...but if have nothing in common and you're always thinking of what to say then definitely it's not working...you know what i mean.

well tell him things you are interested in like how old you are and stuff and just be yourself and be honest and tell hbim how you and maybe it would be easier to do it on the phone than in person

just talk about somthing that happened to you or wen ever im w/ someone and i dont kno wat to talk about i just say somthing about how my parents are so embaressing i kno this is kind stupid but it always gets us talking about somthin and laughing, well idk how old u are you could be like 30 so if u are dont use this advice but if ur like around 14 or 15 u should try it
